January 2014

Happy New Year! 2014 has finally arrived. I'm quite sure that this year will be much better than the last! I'm determined that it will. :-)
I think everyone was too busy last month, to come and visit and vote. So we don't have a winner to display for January. :-(
I've decided to show some of my work for once. :-) This is a basic paper piece design of a quilt block that I have changed slightly and added my own fabric designs into it.

I then repeated the blocks together to get various overall designs ... The one below is one of the designs. I have called it Sparkling Waves and will be entering it into the Spoonflower Spring Quilt Block Contest that is airing next week. Feel free to click on the link below and heart the design :-)

I tell you folks, I can hardly believe that we're at the last month of the year already. Where the heck did 2013 go? I know that some people will be pleased to see the end of this year, it has been a hard year for them and my heart goes out to them, I hope that this month will lead up to a fantastic 2014.
